From a refreshed navigation interface to improved data visualization and export capabilities, these new features have been carefully designed to make your work more efficient and insightful.
1. New Navigation
After having already split our web application from our marketing website, it made sense to update the in-app navigation to something that better fits your logged-in experience.

2. Optional Styled Exports
Alongside our trusted export format, we've added a new optional format with enhanced layout for quick information retrieval. We've maintained the original "raw" file format to ensure compatibility with your Excel models, including LBOs. You can access this legacy version by toggling "Legacy" when exporting data from openthebox.
This new, updated file format is available for exports of Annual Accounts and Financial Ratios. Social Balance and Advanced Search exports remain unchanged.

3. EBITDA as a highlighted metric on profiles
We've given one of the most important financial parameters the highlighting it deserves by placing EBITDA at the top of each company profile and in the evolution/trends charts on both the profile page and financials tab. This change helps financial services professionals quickly access this crucial metric when researching or assessing companies.

4. NACE 2025
While the KBO / Banque Carrefour des Entreprises continues to add new NACE codes, we've already incorporated the available ones into our database and web app. The latest NACE codes are now visible on every profile. In Advanced Search, we've simplified the experience—instead of two separate fields, you can now toggle between NACE code versions and select your desired codes from a single interface.
