About the Role
As an Account Executive (AE) at openthebox, you’ll be responsible for managing the full sales cycle and closing opportunities from a consistent flow of qualified meetings. With over 20 meetings per month coming from inbound leads, a dedicated BDR, and a strong outbound engine, you’ll focus on turning interest into long-term partnerships.
You’ll represent openthebox across multiple markets, including the UK, the Netherlands, and Belgium. Backed by powerful case studies, client referrals, and a product with proven results, you’ll play a key role in expanding our footprint across Europe.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full sales cycle, from first discovery to signed agreement.
- Convert qualified leads from the BDR team and inbound channels into opportunities.
- Develop a deep understanding of openthebox’s platform and how it supports private banks, asset managers, and other financial institutions.
- Deliver tailored demos and proposals that align with each client’s objectives.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and leadership to refine sales strategies and messaging.
- Track and forecast pipeline activity using HubSpot.
- Contribute to growth initiatives, sharing insights to help optimize outbound strategy and product-market fit.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a smart, consultative seller who’s ready to take ownership and help shape the next phase of openthebox’s commercial growth.
- 3–5 years of experience in SaaS or B2B sales.
- A proven track record in closing deals and exceeding quotas.
- Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken.
- Experience working across multiple markets (UK, NL, BE).
- A strategic thinker who can balance structure and creativity.
- Someone eager to build and refine enablement materials, not just follow them.
- A team player who values collaboration with marketing, product, and leadership.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in fintech, legal tech, data, or cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with HubSpot and modern sales enablement tools.
- A passion for AI and data-driven products.
